Launching the Eco-Friendly Stan Smith with Depop

Brief:
The goal of this project was to launch the new eco-friendly Stan Smith in partnership with a leading sustainable platform. Competing against other agencies that proposed traditional media outlets, we sought to take a more innovative approach to the rollout.

Approach:
Thinking outside the box, we identified Depop as the ideal partner. At the time, Depop stood out as the most sustainable platform within the fashion space, aligning perfectly with the eco-conscious values of the new Stan Smith. This collaboration provided an opportunity to engage a community that shared a passion for sustainability and fashion.

Working closely with Depop and adidas Originals, I developed a comprehensive rollout strategy and context matrix to guide the launch. This plan focused on authentically connecting with Depop's community and driving awareness around the eco-friendly initiative.

Outcome:
The project resulted in a distinctive launch strategy that leveraged Depop’s sustainability-focused platform, differentiating the eco Stan Smith campaign from traditional approaches. This partnership highlighted adidas's commitment to sustainability while resonating with a forward-thinking audience in the fashion community.
